Adopt a Seat
Through Go Comedy’s Adopt a Seat Program,
your gift will support the future of Detroit Improv and help keep students in classes and patrons in seats. A portion of the donation goes to a randomly selected student each term that a donation occurs.
For a minimum contribution of $200 per chair, you may use this opportunity to honor or remember someone special. In return for your donation, you will receive an engraved stainless steel nameplate, prominently affixed to the chair back of one of our available seats. Take pride in knowing that your gift will benefit many future generations of Go Comedy! Improvisers.

Q. May I specify a name other than my own?
A. Yes. You may use this opportunity to honor someone you admire or want to see remembered. The nameplate can be engraved using two lines with up to 30 characters per line.
Q. Will my name actually appear on the seat?
A. Yes. Each seat will have an engraved stainless steel nameplate affixed to the back.
Q. How much does it cost?
A. The minimum donation is $200 per chair.
Q. Can I Adopt other things in the Theater?
A. Yes, tell us what you want your name on and we’ll tell you what donation covers it. Want your name on the usher stand? Sure. Want to remember a loved one by dedicating that light fixture? Yup. Want the bathroom door dedicated in your spouse’s name? Okay that’s weird, but why not.
